I’ve been a vegetarian for over 5 years now and with my lactose intolerance I’m very nearly vegan too. So its no leather, no wool, no eggs, no milk but sometimes I do eat a bit of cheese or mishti dahi. I’m almost ready to give it up.
This blog is a list of recipes that I, or one of my family members (who are not even vegetarian but are very supportive) have altered. These are traditional recipes that are vegan and very close to the original thing. There are also other recipes, my experiments or ones I’ve found online.
The reason for this blog is all the times people have said, “Don’t become a vegan, you will have nothing to eat.” Well, its easy being vegan (and that is my goal, this could also be my personal journey to becoming a vegan), and there is a lot to eat. You just have to be careful about the nutrients and make sure you get good supplements but the food is great and really healthy too.
